Dolores Marlene Houle

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dolores Marlene Houle of Ebb and Flow, Mb on October 8, 2025 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre at the age of 73 years.  

Dolores was born on August 30, 1952 at the Ste. Rose Hospital to parents Joseph and Rose (Davis) Houle.  

Dolores worked for 40 plus years in education.  She enjoyed working alongside her son Clayton Houle, her siblings, nieces, nephews and numerous extended family members.  Dolores and Douglas opened their home to numerous people throughout the years.  

Dolores leaves to mourn her passing and cherish many fond memories; her husband Douglas Mousseau, her son Clayton (Melanie), her grandchildren Clayton Jr (Dannika), Brock, Payton and Colton, her great grandchildren Zane, Clayton III and Lily, Son Cyril (Shari), Corbin (Alanis), Cyril Jr, Sierra and great grandchild Colton, daughter Chasity, her siblings Lawrence Campbell, Bernice (late Wilfred), Bertha (late Norman), Valerie, Mary, Gerald McKay (Eileen), Lorna, Arlene (Darren), Manuel (Renita), Noella (Richard), Florence (James) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, her closest  cousins Linda Flett and Doris Baptiste-Houle and her aunts Caroline Davis, Freda Malcolm, and uncle Joe Davis, her sisters-in-law Rose Mousseau and Ina Wood, and her godchildren Kevin Houle, Laurel Houle, Ricky Flett, Laverne Flett, and Alyssa Pompana.  

Dolores was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Abraham and Madeleine (Nepinak) Houle, her maternal grandparents Patrick Davis and Louisa (Flett) Davis, her parents Joseph and Rose Houle, her siblings Howard, Peggy and Mervin and her goddaughter Sheila Houle. 

Funeral Service for Dolores was held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 2:00 pm from Sneath-Strilchuk's Ste. Rose Chapel in Ste. Rose du Lac. Fr. Armand Le Gal, OMI officiating.  

Interment will take place at a future date.
