Dianne Shumsky

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mom, Dianne Joyce (Gadzosa) Shumsky at the age of 76 years. Dianne was born in Dauphin on November 3, 1948.

She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory; daughters Kerry and Kristen (partner Teddy) and son Kyle; sister Marlene Basaraba; and brother-in-law Dmetro (Matt) Shumsky as well as numerous nephews, nieces and extended family.

She was predeceased by her husband Harry Shumsky; parents Fred and Mary Gadzosa; brother Terry Gadzosa; brother- in-law Barry Basaraba; in-laws Daniel and Pearl (Kostyra) Shumsky; sisters-in-law Mary (Bill) Pshebniski, Anne (John) Samocha; brothers-in-law Tony (Stella) Shumsky and Nicholas (Irene) Shumsky.

“Vichnya Pamyat”

A Funeral Service was held for Dianne on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 10:00 am from the Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin.

Interment followed in the Riverside Cemetery - Dauphin.
