Darryl Miles St. Paul
Mossy
July 20, 1967 - September 29, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Darryl St. Paul at his residence in Langruth in the early morning hours of September 29, 2021 at the age of 54 years.
Darryl was born in Ste. Rose du Lac in July 20, 1967. He was a survivor of the residential schools and he always shared a story as to why he loved bread so much.
He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Jemima St. Paul and his brother Dennis St. Paul.
Darryl leaves to mourn his passing and cherish many fond memories; his partner of 20 years Bonnie and her family, his children Justine, Susan (Rocky), Jesse, Alanna (Jeremy), Lindsey along with his grandchildren, his siblings Ferlene (Don), Wayne (Glenda), Richard (Rhonda), Victor (Roxanne), Cyril (Shari), Shelly (Ashley) along with numerous extended family members and many friends.
Throughout the years, there was never a month that went by without the family enjoying a gathering. There was always a birthday or celebration with lots of laughs and love. Afterwards he cooked a full course meal and he would always say that "it was made with love". He enjoyed his adventures at many different recreational and amusement activities. Darryl was always willing to try anything. On his travels, he would try out different restaurants. Darryl loved his two favorite foods, chinese food and Chicken Chef. But most of all, Mossy loved to fish and loved his work as a mechanic. He was always willing to lend a hand and helped many family members and friends over the years.
Dear Friends I Go
Dear friends I go, but do not weep
I've lived my life, so full and deep
Throughout my life, I gave my best
I earned my keep, I've earned my rest
I never tried to be great or grand
I tried to be a helping hand
If I helped in a team, if I helped on my own
It was more than repaid by good family and friends I have known
And if I went the extra mile, I did it with pleasure
It was all worthwhile.
If I brightened your path, then let it be
A small contribution from my loved ones and me,
Now sadly I leave you and travel alone
Through mystic veil to the great unknown.
With such beautiful memories
That will forever be the way that I hope
You'll remember me.
