Clarence was born in Winnipegosis on October 30th, 1955; and he was raised in Pine Creek where he resided all his life. He contributed to his community in a lot of ways. To make a little bit extra income by picking up cans and bottles. Our community was always clean. Whenever there was bingo, he would go to the arena and pick up all the cans, pull out the tabs and collect those also to donate for a good cause.
Clarence was a very special man. He was kind, loving, and gentle in ways that many people may never fully understand. While life was not always perfect or easy, it is those values and characteristics he carried that shine through most brightly now. We have always honored and admired him for the love and care he gave to his mom, our mom; our grandmother, right until the very end, making sure she was able to remain at home. That was a gift I know she deeply appreciated, and something our family will always respect and love him for.
Clarence lived a simple life, his enjoyment was going to town to go and have a restaurant meal, enjoy a good cup of coffee and enjoy the car ride. He was the nicest person you can ever meet, he always welcomed people into his home and shared whatever he had with them.
He loved his dogs so much, always adopting strays and bringing big bags of dog food to feed them. When he got his settlement, he wanted to donate $500.00 each to the animal shelters, always thinking about someone else he is the kindest person you can ever meet. We will miss him so much; his positive attitude which he showed right to his final moments, but we know he is now in a place of serenity, beauty, and love, and for that we are grateful.
