Christopher Dumas Obituary

It is with sadness that the family of Christopher Dumas announces his passing on Monday, August 17th, 2020 in a vehicle accident in Crane River, MB at the age of 36 years.

Christopher was born on July 4, 1984 in Winnipeg MB to his parents Kenneth and Jackie Dumas. Christopher was raised in Crane River and attended the D.R.C.S.S where he obtained Grade 11 credits.

Following his education, Christopher began working as a drywaller and sub-contractor.  It was his passion.  Christopher prided himself from learning this trade from the best.  He was always proud to say that he learned everything from his dad Kenneth and Papa Bucky.  When he wasn't working, Christopher could be hunting, fishing or working on anything with a motor.  He enjoyed playing baseball and partying and having a good time with his family and friends.  But most of all, Christopher loved spending time with his children and grandson.  They were his world.

Christopher was predeceased by his grandfather Donat McKenzie, his great grandparents Roy and Maggie Dumas, John and Florence McKay, Emma and Philias Vandale, Alexander and Ercele McKenzie, his great great grandmother Evelyn Dumas, his great great grandfather Adlore Dumas and his great great great grandparents Louie and Louisa Dumas, his auntie Doloris Dumas, his great uncle Ernest Asham (Uncle Boogie), his uncle Billy Lowry and his uncle Albert Perrault, his cousins Wilfred McKenzie, Jessie McKenzie, Shawn McKenzie, Marcus McKay, Rebecca Dumas, Denayah Dumas and his godfather Wayne (Weiner) Dumas.

Christopher will be forever remembered by his children Randell Dumas, Shadaya Dumas, his step-children Ricky Campbell, Rishawn Campbell and Danika Moar, his step-grandson Kingston Campbell, his parents Kenneth and Jackie Dumas, his grandparents Dennis and Pearl Dumas and Josephine McKenzie, his sister Tiffany (Joe) Desmarais, his nephew Jackson Dumas-Demarais, his niece Myla Dumas-Desmarais along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.
