Christine Kozar Obituary

Christine Caroline Kozar (nee Syrnyk) was born in Dauphin on May 21, 1954 to Isadore and Mary Syrnyk.  She grew up with two brothers Birnie and Dennis on the Syrnyk homestead in Ethelbert, Manitoba.
After graduation from the Ethelbert Collegiate she attended Saskatoon Business College and obtained her medical records diploma.  “Chrissy” lived all her life in Dauphin.  She worked for many years for an accounting firm and later as a real estate agent with Spack Realty.  Chris held various positions with Elections Canada, was a property manager and landlord.
As a very devout member of her church, she supported them whole heartedly volunteering for whatever needed to be done and also accepted positions as a board member and custodian. Every season and special event was decorated beautifully from the heart.
Christine passed away suddenly on July 31, 2022 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. She is predeceased by her father Isadore and brother
Dennis. She leaves to mourn her mother Mary, brother Birnie (Lorene); nieces Jody (Doug) Paulgaard and son Mason, Tracy (Don) Wickstrom, son Tyson; special friend Ed Froese; and her many friends and relatives.
