Carol Todoruk passed away at the age of 66 at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre on Sunday, November 27th, 2022.
Carol was the youngest of three siblings born to Dmytro and Elizabeth (Beyko) Todoruk on May 26th, 1956 in Dauphin, MB. Carol grew up helping her family on the farm in Dauphin. She attended and graduated from DRCSS. Shortly after, she began her lifelong hairdressing career in Dauphin. In 1982, she would welcome the joy of her life, daughter Olana. She was a devoted mother and always made family a priority. She loved spending time with family and friends, often watching football or curling.
Carol's faith in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and her Ukrainian heritage were very important to her. She was very dedicated to St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church and served as choir director for many years and recently took on the duties of cantor. Her passion for singing was also used in Canada's National Ukrainian Festival Choir. She also gave freely of her time, volunteering many hours for the festival.
Carol will be lovingly remembered by her family; daughter, Olana Todoruk (Clint); brother, Wes Todoruk (Vicki); niece, Robbyn Todoruk; brother, James Todoruk (Terri); nephew, Greg (Loni), great nieces, Hadleigh, Freya, Liv, and great nephew Asher; nephew, Darcy (Jenell); great niece, Evalee, and great nephew Holden; niece, Karla Mayuk (Dustin); great nephew Memphis and great niece Huxli.
Carol was predeceased by her parents Dymtro and Elizabeth Todoruk, and spouse, Phil Hannibal.
Carol always had a positive spirit and bright smile that would brighten any room. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
