Bryan Bieuz Obituary

With profound sadness, we announce that Bryan has left on his journey to the spirit world. Bryan, husband and love of her life to Donna, loving father to Katelyn (Matt) & Kaylee (Malik), his most proud role Papa to Olivia and Isabella,  beloved son to Gary & Joyce, baby brother to Bill (Jan) Bieuz, son-in-law to Don, brother in law to Nadine (Duane) & Kevin (Jody), cherished uncle to Stephanie (Ryan), Tyler (Betsy), Tara (Ryan), Trystann, Adysson, Mavi & Emily and a kind nephew and cousin.  Bryan will be forever loved and remembered.

Bryan kept a small circle of friends. So, if you were one of them, you were blessed.

Bryan was predeceased by his grandparents and his mother-in-law whom he adored Bev Palisniuk and his cousin Allan

Bryan grew up athletic. He excelled in hockey and baseball. He lived a life of toughness and was a strong, hard-working man.  Bryan shared a passion and love for hockey especially the Winnipeg Jets with his dad, brother, wife, and mother-in-law.

All of Bryan’s youth was spent with his family at Big Stone Lodge. It was here that he had the best memories and learned to be the best fisherman ever. Bryan carried a fishing rod with him and at every opportunity stopped to check out what he could catch. Bryan loved the water and spent countless hours fishing, diving, scuba diving and he was an exceptional swimmer.

In 1991, Bryan went to work at Flynn Canada as a roofer. He was called in to do a metal job and that was where his career began. He worked all over Canada from Nunavut to Saskatchewan to Ontario. Bryan was taught by his friend Jason and always boasted that he was taught by the best. Bryan was an unbelievable metal man. Bryan shared his knowledge daily and that will be so missed. His attention to detail and need for perfection made him great, Bryan often said that he may have only had a Grade 9 education that he knew more than most architects on building design.

It was Bryan’s hard work and knowledge that made him a successful business owner. A-Top Custom Metal Installations was his pride and joy. His dream of working for himself was fulfilled.

In 2001, while working in Glenella, Bryan met the love of his life Donna. It was love at first sight. They both knew they would marry and be together. Bryan had a bonus for Donna, a daughter Katelyn and their family made memories from the start. In 2003, they were blessed with their daughter Kaylee. Bryan was in his happy place, living life with his girls.

So many memories were made. Bryan was bitten by the travel bug after a trip to Disney Land and many trips were made after, Mexico, Florida, Cuba, Las Vegas. In March of this year, he fulfilled his dream of seeing a Mayan temple in beautiful Guatemala with his friends. Bryan fulfilled his dream of owning a boat and finally was a captain. Many hours were spent on Lake Manitoba.

Bryan and Donna spent 20 years in St. Laurent and were the first campers in Stoney Ridge campground.  This was their happy place where Bryan could fulfill his love of camping, fires, swimming and fishing.  They hosted many events and friends and family there.  He was forever grateful for Glen and Tracy giving him the life he loved outside of the city.

Bryan's outdoor passion was also spent in McCreary. The place he truly called home.  He built his own cabin in the bush on Uncle Mikes where he slept beneath the stars with the coyotes.  He inherited this land and on his last day home got to see his big garden harvested.

Bryan was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in March of 2023. Leaving this world so suddenly was not an option for him or Donna. They embarked on a journey to Mexico together and at a point beat this awful disease. He fought like no other and his courageousness will never be duplicated. Bryan was the strongest man we ever knew and wanted to stay for his girls.

Life will never be the same, but we will go on. We will run your business and maintain your legacy. Your girls will stick together and make you proud. Forever we will love and miss you.

Bryan- Who’s the champ? You the champ! It’s true you had me from hello. There will never be a love like ours, forever in my heart you will remain. Rest honey, you fought with courage, dignity and grace and I am beyond proud to call you, my husband. I love you sweetie – Donna.

Special thanks to Bill & Jan, Nadine & Amanda & Eric who never left our side, and to Dr. Blais and Dr Van Otterloo and the nurses and staff of Ste. Rose and Dauphin hospitals for the wonderful care.
