Betty Ann Wincheruk was born on March 28, 1949 in Roblin, MB to parents, Steve and Mary Wincheruk (nee Smigelsky).
At an early age of five, Betty accidently drank some poison which caused her to have a serious and permanent brain injury. Due to her injury, Betty lived with her parents for most of her life.
On March 14, 1977 Betty gave birth to a daughter, Debbie Lee, who was adopted out. Then in June of 2011, Betty was happily reunited with her daughter. With this reunion Betty gained a son-in-law, Danny and two grandchildren, Hadyn and Holden.
In 2008 she joined the Grandview Gateways family and later moved into the Roblin Personal Care Home.
Betty loved music, animals, fairs, and rodeos but mostly she loved to dance to Ukrainian music. Betty had a unique sense of humour and she made nicknames for everyone, like Rhino for Ryan and Honey Bunch for her brother-in-law, Eddie (which stuck to this day).
Betty was a kind and beautiful soul with a wonderful smile. The most purest and beautiful Angel is now watching over us. We will see you again.
Betty leaves to mourn her daughter, Debbie (Danny) Francoeur and grandchildren, Hadyn and Holden of St. Walburg, SK; brothers, Pat (Irene) Wincheruk of Meadow Lake, SK and Tom (Holly) Wincheruk of Winnipeg, MB; sisters, Bev Stephanow of Roblin, MB and Gloria (Laverne) Spilak of Yorkton, SK.
Betty was predeceased by parents, Steve and Mary
