It is with great sadness that our family mourns the loss of Bernice Suidak. Bernice left us suddenly January 3rd at the age of 58.
Bernice was born June 16, 1960 in Swan River Manitoba. She was the 10th of 12 children born to parents Gregory and Delia Klyne. The Klyne family moved to Roblin in the 1960’s. Bernice received education in Roblin as well as Winnipeg Manitoba. It was in Roblin that Bernice met Larry Suidak. Larry and Bernice were united in marriage July 8th, 1978. Larry and Bernice celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary this summer. Shortly after they were married they celebrated the birth of their first born Jennifer Dawn in September 1978, followed by Miranda Lynn in December 1980, and Justin Larry Victor in March 1982. Larry and Bernice chose land in the Merridale district and built up their farm from a bare field to a successful farm where they raised their family on. Bernice was a very hard worker and was employed at numerous restaurants, Roblin’s meat processing plant, then finally as a Cashier at Parkway Co-op where she worked her way up the the Manager of the meat department. This year Bernice would have celebrated her 30th year working at Co-op. Bernice was passionate about her job and always insisted on perfection. Bernice loved to entertain and socialize, you never left hungry when Bernice was hosting. Bernice lived everyday to the fullest and she said and did exactly what she wanted to do all the time. You never had to guess what Bernice was thinking because she would tell you. On weekends you could find Bernice around a campfire, fishing, playing Bingo or watching her grandchildren play sports. Bernice was greatly loved not only by her husband, children, grandchildren, great- grand child, but by all her nieces and nephews too. Family was truly the most important thing to Bernice and she always showed her love for each and every one of them.
