Arnold William Carriere

Arnold Carriere of Waterhen, Manitoba passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at the age of 91 years.

Arnold William Carriere was born on August 7th, 1928 in Waterhen, MB to David and Mable Carriere (Trumbla).

He was raised in a home with 12 brothers and sisters.  On March 23, 1974 he married Marge Trumbla in Waterhen, MB.  They had no children of their own, but to them all their nieces and nephews were considered their kids.

Arnold was predeceased by his parents; his in-laws Harry and Blanche Trumbla; and ten of his brothers and sisters and their spouses, Hazel and husband Asmunder Erickson, Mary and husband Albert Campbell, Clarence and wife Laverne Carriere, Florence and husband Jim Jackson, Annie and husband Harry Sanderson, Cyril and wife Olive Carriere, Leonard Carriere, Joe Carriere, Donald Carriere and Ernie Carriere; brother-in-law Dave Trumbla.  He was also predeceased by all his in-laws on Marge's side.

He is survived by his wife Marge; his two sisters Yvonne Trumbla and Catherine Carriere; sisters-in-law Yvonne (Donald) Carriere, Victoria (Ernie) Carriere; and many, many nephews and nieces and their families.

Arnold passed away on Tuesday, May 12th , 2020 at the Dauphin Hospital.  If friends so desire, donations in memory of Arnold may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

A Graveside service and interment was held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm from the Waterhen Catholic Cemetery in Waterhen,  MB with Fr. Noel Boulanger officiating.  Pallbearers were Clarence  Popowich, Douglas Popowich, Arnold Popowich, Jeff Taylor, Eric Trumbla, Jim Klassen.

 A Celebration of Life will be held for Arnold at a later date at the Waterhen Community Centre.
