Annie Marie Gaouette was born Monday, August 23, 1976, in The Pas, Manitoba and was a devoted wife to her husband Theotime “Sonny” Gaouette, who she loved and cared for with all her heart.
She was a proud parent to eleven boys, one daughter and eight beautiful grandchildren. Annie was a wonderful teacher to her children and with her love and guidance helped them become the men that they are today.
Annie was a remarkable lady and made friends wherever she went. She always left a piece of her wisdom with those who got a chance to know her. Annie was a loving, kind, respectful and understanding person. Annie will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. Annie loved running their small clothing business Destiny G‘s that is named after their only daughter. Annie loved being a full-time mom. She always made sure her children were fed and always had clean clothes on their backs.
Annie Marie Gaudette passed away from stage 4 liver cancer on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Dauphin Regional Hospital in Dauphin, MB at the age of 48 years.
Annie is survived by your husband, Theotime “Sonny” Gaouette, her sons Dylen, Damian (Ashley), Dominick (Lee-Anne), Darrell (Kayleigh), Douglas, Denzel (Mya), Dakota (Delayna), Dashawn, Drake, Davey, Daniel and daughter Destiny; grandchildren Stella, Clarence, Dean, Grace, Jersey, Brooklyn, Astrid and Ivar; sisters Lillian “Bad Girl” Head (Alex) and Catherine Razor (Chico); brothers Larry Head (Louise) and Jonathan Head (Cindy); sisters and brothers-in-law Marie Gaoutte, Susie (Benny) Gaoutte, Joseph (Sherree) Gaouette, Michelle Gaoutte and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.
Annie was predeceased by aunts Mary-Anne Head, Florence Cameron, Noel Cameron, Margaret and William Head; mother-in-law Vivian Gaoutte; aunties and uncles Beth McGillivary, Francis Head, Lena and Jonathon Weenusk and Bill Kadachuk.
A Wake was held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 4:00 pm from the Camperville Hall in Camperville, MB.
A Funeral Service was held for Annie on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11:00 am from the Camperville Hall in Camperville, MB with Leonard Houle as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in the Camperville Metis Cemetery.
