Anne (Krupsky) Stokotelny

ANNE STOKOTELNY (nee KRUPSKY). It is with deep sorrow that we announce Mom’s passing at 88 years of age on March 22, 2021.

Anne was born & educated in Ethelbert, Manitoba, the only child of Theodore and Pearl who both immigrated from Ukraine.

Mom will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Brian (Ruth), Ron (Jacinthe), Cindy Weimer, Greg (Maria), and Kerry (Tanya). Her grandchildren, Jeff (Michelle), Jenny (Brad) Peterson, Janelle, Brendan (Kat) Weimer, Derian Weimer, Sabrina, Christopher, Jacob, Sarah, and great-grandchildren, Aaron, Mikaela, and Henry.

Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leo in 1987 and son-in-law, Wade Weimer in 2019.

Mom enjoyed all sports, especially biking and swimming, during her school years. After graduation, she moved to Winnipeg and attended Manitoba Normal School on Shaftesbury. She earned her Teaching Diploma while working weekends in the kitchen at Deer Lodge Centre. Mom taught for three years during which time she married Dad & made their home on the family farm in Keld. After raising the five of us, Mom worked at the Dauphin General Hospital while studying to be a Health Care Aid. When she received her certification, she worked in the Dauphin Personal Care Home. Upon retirement, she moved to Winnipeg to be closer to her family. She always enjoyed the family visits and get-togethers. Mom’s perogies and pickles were second to none and her quilts were enjoyed by everyone.

The family would like to thank the staff at Meadowood Manor for their excellent care and continuous support.

Funeral Service was held at Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre on Riverside Rd. in Dauphin, Manitoba on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 11am. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery.
