Anne (Hrycenko) Kolochuk

Annie Kolochuk of Winnipegosis, Manitoba passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the Dauphin Hospital at the age of 92 years.
Annie was born on January 9, 1926 to John and Mary (Zuk) Hrycenko at Winnipegosis.
Annie grew up in the Meadowlands area and went to the Meadowlands School.
In 1948 Annie married John Kolochuk and together they farmed in the Volga District.
Annie loved her family dearly and all the visits that they made. She enjoyed the farm life, spending time outdoors, gardening, cooking and canning.
Annie stayed on the farm until 1987 when she retired and moved to Winnipegosis when her son Richard took over the family farm after her husbands passing in 1986.
Annie is survived by her son Richard (Darlene); daughters Phyllis (Michael) and Marlene (Ed); 3 grandchildren Stefani, Gary and Greg and 3 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are brother in laws and sister in laws Mike Kolochuk, William (Sylvia) Kolochuk, Mary Golay, Lena Kravec, Helen (Walter) Bileski and Donna Kolochuk.
Annie was predeceased by her husband John, her parents John and Mary and brother Dmetro.  Also predeceased by her brother in laws Walter Kolochuk, Metro Galay, Bill Seniuk, Harry Kravec and Metro Chersak and her sister in laws Olga Chersak, Jessie Kolochuk and Dorothy Kolochuk.

Prayers will be offered on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 6:30 pm from Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin, MB.

Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 10:00 am from Holy Ascension Ukrainian Catholic Church  in Winnipegosis, MB with Very Rev Father Oleg Bodnarski officiating.  Interment followed in Holy Ascension Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Winnipegosis, MB.  Pallbearers were Dennis Kolochuk, Ken Kolochuk, Allen Armstrong, Merlin Semchyshyn, Marvin Monchka, Bob Bileski.
