Anne was born on February 8, 1939 in Ste. Rose, MB. Anne lived a traditional lifestyle, worked at Furgayle Brooms for many of her earlier years. She than became a childcare provider, for many of her grandchildren, over the years. Who ended up always call her mom or big mama, even koko. Our mother also volunteered her time at the Ebb & Flow School, as an elder for the younger children. She was also a member of the Ebb & Flow church choir, where she became close friends with her peers. Throughout the years, Anne has always enforced our family to follow the traditional ways, to go out and dance at pow-wows. Anne will be missed by everyone who had close contact with her. Her close friends from work and singing partner, Marilyn Flett, who she called everyday and was her travelling companion.
Her Pow-wow buddy Ethel Pruden, who would come when mom needed a chatter friend, someone when mom needed something done, when no-one else was near by.
