Amelia Ferland Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mother Amelia Ferland (Emily).
August 12, 1932 - September 13, 2021.
Emily was predeceased by her husband Alex Ferland; parents Michelle and Helen Chartrand; daughter Ruby Ferland; 5 grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Louie (Lillian) Howard, Camille (Darlene) Nelson; daughters, Doreen, Mary, Florence, Yvonne (Riel), Rita, Alice; 44 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren & great great grandchildren; and all the residents and staff at the Personal Care Home in Winnipegosis.
Prayer Service & Wake was offered on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 3:00 pm, prayer service at 7:00 pm from The Duck Bay Hall in Duck Bay, MB.
Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:30 pm from St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in Duck Bay, MB with Father Napoleon Suvakin officiating.
Interment than followed in Duck Bay Cemetery in Duck Bay, MB. Pallbearers were Camille Ferland, Joseph Ferland, David Ferland, Wayne Genaille, Charles Genaille, Kevin Ferland.
