Albin "Al" Kindret

It is with deep sadness the family shares that Al Kindred of Dauphin, Manitoba passed away on Friday March 6, 2026 at the age of 94 years.

He was born on May 20, 1931 in Sifton, Manitoba to parents Harry and Mary (Perepeluk) Kindret. On June 14, 1958 Al married Jean (Hlady) Kindret in Sifton, Manitoba.

He was predeceased by his parents; son in law Rick Prestayko; grandson Adam Prestayko; brothers Nick, Steve, John and Eugene; along with sisters Helen, Anne and Lena.

Left to cherish fond memories are his wife Jean; children Brenda, Carla (Randy), Jim (Heather) and Wendy (Bill); grandchildren Jason (Jenni-Lynn), Kristin (Chris), Megan, Derek (Joy), Lee (Sydney), Alex (Maddie), Zoe (Josh), Jeanne and his great grandchildren Harlen, Roscoe, Richie and Aniyah.

In honoring Dad's wishes, a private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have shared in his life and supported them during this time of loss. As we reflect on the life of a man who deeply loved, we are comforted by the words, a life well lived, a father deeply loved. Until we meet again.

Though Dad is no longer with us in body, his spirit lives on in our hearts. His life was a testament to love and family. May he rest in eternal peace.
