Albert Horace Preston 

Albert Horace Preston of Magnet, MB passed away suddenly in a farm accident on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the age of 77 years.  

Albert was born on August 5, 1948 in Ste. Rose du Lac, to parents Harold and Hazel Preston (nee McKinnon).  Following his schooling, Albert went to work.  He worked in northern Manitoba, in Atlantic Canada in a fishing boat.  Albert moved back to Magnet where he worked the family farm and always had time to lend his neighbors a hand when needed.  Albert worked on local road construction projects in the Methley & Ste Rose area operating the bulldozer.  In his spare time, Albert enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and curling.  He will be missed.  

Albert leaves to mourn his passing and cherish many fond memories; his children; son David, daughter Lillian, his 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and his siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends. 

Funeral Service for Albert will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the Lawrence Community Complex, Rorketon, MB 

Interment will follow in the Magnet Cemetery, Magnet, MB
