William "Bill" Hawryluk passed away peacefully at the Dauphin Regional Hospital with his loving wife Joyce (Tymchuk nee Toporowski) of 33 years, at his side, on June 25, 2018.
Bill was born on December 27, 1927 to Harry and Pearl (Komfolio). He was the second oldest of 4 children.
Bill got his education in Comrie and Rigby Schools while farming with this Dad. After Harry's passing he took over the family farm until he moved to Dauphin in 1976. He was employed by the Dauphin Hospital until his retirement.
Bill was a life member of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Ashville and Dauphin, also a member of the Ukrainian Young Men's Society.
His favorite past-time was gardening and also playing cards, especially solitaire.
His is survived by his wife Joyce, daughter Carol -Lynn (Rudy) and son Michael, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grand children, 2 sisters, 3 sisters-in-law, 1 brother-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
He was predeceased by his parents, mother and father-in-law, 1 sister, 5 brothers-in-law and 1 niece.

Prayers were offered on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 7:00 pm from St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Dauphin, MB.
Funeral Service was held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00 am from St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Dauphin, MB with Rev. Father Brent Kuzyk officiating. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin, MB. Pallbearers were Michael Tymchuk, Rudy Loewen, Andrew Funk, Tyler Funk, Darryl Thorvaldson, Bradley Bartko.
