Victoria Kosinski was born on the home farm (SE9-28-28W) in the Zelena District of Roblin, Manitoba. She went to Gleneden where she got a grade 5 education. At a very early age of 15 she took the train to Toronto to work. She stayed with her sisters and went to work in different factories. One job was making matches.
Victoria liked the simple things in life. She enjoyed coming to the farm and having picnics, petting the cows and baby calves, playing with the dog, cat and just walking around and enjoying nature. Her favorite was spending time with the horses. Any chance she got to pet a horse, she was there.
Victoria left to mourn her sister Stella (Marion) Diakiw, Marge Dudar, brother Norman, sister-in-law Mary Kosinsky, niece Trin Thompson. She was predeceased by her parents John & Anne Kosinsky, sisters Mary Agnes, Tillie Nellie and Brothers Nick, Mike and Bill, Brother-in-law Eugene Dudar. She will be sadly missed. Her one wish when she passed away was to come home. Well, you’re home now. Rest in Peace.
