Robert (Bobby) James of Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation, peacefully passed in Brandon Regional Hospital on January 9, 2020.
Bobby is survived by his wife Blanche of 51 years, and his children Byron (Roberta), Tanya (Ray), Michelle and Tina. He raised his grandson Linden as his own. He also leaves to mourn his Grandchildren Savannah, Dannika, Junior Taija, Kaitlin, Jacob, Peyton, Daceson, Adaya, Laila, Caidon, Heavenlee, Deshaun, Hailey, Hannah and his Great Grandchildren Gage, Jedidiah, Lillith, Karsen and Jaxxon. He also is survived by his sisters Irene Nepinak, half sister Elizabeth Razor. He took Beatrice Ironstand, Geraldine (Ted) Yvonne Shingoose and Topsy Flett as his own sisters. Brothers-in-law Stanley (Lucy), Geordie (Cheryl), Norman (Sherese), Franklin (Melanie), Wesley (Lisa) and Clayton. His sisters-in-law Yvette (Lloyd), Rose (George), Kathy (Calvin), Brina and Glenda as well as special nieces and nephews Terri-Lynn, Kelly, Connie, Kristy, Lyle Musky and Troy. There are numerous other nieces, nephews aunts and uncles and other extended family whom he loved dearly.
Bobby was predeceased by his son Derek, his parents Margaret and Albert Ironstand, his mother-in-law Agnes and our Ko-Ko Noonoose. His sisters Phyllis, Audrey and Joyce, his brothers Edlore and Kirby and brothers-in-law Kelvin and Michael.
Traditional Wakes were offered on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 5:00 pm from the Ebb & Flow Community Complex in Ebb & Flow and on Sunday, January 12 starting at 2:00 pm from the Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation Hall.
A Funeral Service was held for Robert on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 12:00 pm from the Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation Hall.
Interment will follow in the Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation Cemetery.
