Rick Gilbert Nepinak

It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of our daddy, husband, son, uncle, brother, nephew, cousin, brother-in-law, son-in-law, and friend Rick Gilbert Nepinak.
He grew up in Pine Creek First Nation until he left home shortly after his koko's passing in 1994.  He then made his way to Winnipeg to start his construction working life.  He spent the last 10 years in Dauphin with his wife and daughter.
Rick was a lover of fishing, hunting, playing cards, anything outdoor related and hockey.  He won us $2500 on poker stars and bought me my first car.  We all have our memories of Rick and will cherish them dearly.  He was a loving and devoted dad and husband.
He will be dearly missed by all and especially by his baby girl Khloe Kathleen Mary Nepinak.

Traditional Wake was held at the Dauphin Friendship Centre on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 5:00 pm.
Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:00 am from St. Viator's Roman Catholic Church in Dauphin, MB with Rev. Michel Nault officiating.  Pallbearers were Marcus  Genaille, Kobi Richard, Hank  Williams, Jackson  Evans, Shawn Brass, Chris Genaille, Clifford Harper.
