Patricia Johnston of Dauphin, Manitoba passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the age of 90 years.
Patricia was born March 23, 1928 in Dauphin, Manitoba to parents Frank and Lenore McConnell. She attended school in Kelwood, MB, graduating in 1945. She trained as a laboratory technologist at the Manitoba Provincial Laboratory School of Medical Technologists in Brandon, graduating in June 1949.
Patricia and Ray were married on June 11, 1953 in Kelwood , MB. They were blessed with three sons - Larry, Blair and Brian. Patricia dearly loved all of her family.
Pat was active in many organizations in the community including the Lionelles, the hospital auxiliary, the Eastern Star (of which she was a member for more than 60 years), as well as being a lifetime member of the Curling Association, being one of three founding members of the Rockette Curling Club. She enjoyed golfing at the Dauphin Golf Club for many years while staying at their summer home. Pat and Ray enjoyed many years at the Waterhen, and going south in the winter. She also enjoyed 10 pin bowling, mall walking club and the activities and ministries of St Paul's Anglican Church.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents Frank & Lenore McConnell, sisters Kathleen & Bernice and her husband Ray.
Patricia is survived by her sons Larry, Blair (Cindy), Brian (Karen) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service was held for Patricia on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00 am from the Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin with Rev. Pat Langlois officiating.
