Mary Veronica (Roe) Fleming

Mary Veronica Fleming (nee Roe) of Winnipegosis, and formerly of Manchester, England passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019 in the Winnipegosis and District Health Centre at the age of 94.  

She is survived by her children; Linda (Ernest) Clarkson, Michael, Douglas (Charlene), Susan Menard (Rene), Caroline (Wayne) Matkowski;  Grandchildren, Tannis (Chad), Gary (Arlana), Cheryl (Manny), Amber, Kelly (Jane), Sheree (Phil), Aimee, Marsha (Darrel), Lyndon, Michelle.  
She will also be fondly remembered by Janice and children Lorene and Shawn;  Great-grandchildren, Madison, Brooklyn, Hudson, Myla, Keane, Milo, Danika, Conner, Brody, Boston.  Also survived by sister Sheila Lord and brother Bernard Roe of Manchester, England; brother in law Clarence Fleming and sisters in law Leona Chartrand and Lena Fleming all of Winnipegosis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, both in Canada and England.  

Mary was predeceased by her husband Thomas C. Fleming in 2002.  In England her parents Harry and Agnes Roe, brothers Harry and Eddie; sisters Agnes, Eileen, Pauline, brothers in law Len, Duncan, Bill and David.  In England she was also predeceased by sisters in law Emmy and Louise; three nephews; Barry, David and Robert.  In Canada she was predeceased by in-laws John and Joyce Fleming, brothers in law Raymond Fleming, Ken Whaley, Harry Chartrand, and George Brown, sisters in law Grace Whaley , Margaret Coma, Edith Brown, and Rose Fleming; son in law Daniel Menard.  

A Celebration of Life was held on Friday September 6, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Elks Hall in Winnipegosis.  Interment followed the service in the Winnipegosis and District Cemetery.
