Mary Balyk

Mary Balyk of Grandview, Manitoba passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the age of 82 years.

Mary was born on May 6, 1937 in Sandy Lake, MB to John and Lena (nee Rsepa) Balyk. Mary received her education at Sandy Lake. Following school she worked at the Dauphin General Hospital and then was employed at the Grandview Café for awhile. She also helped her parents on the family farm. In 1997, Mary became a resident of the Grandview Personal Care Home. 
  She will be remembered for her enjoyment of cooking, singing, puzzles and a good game of bingo.  Mary was a devoted member of St. Elias Parish and cherished her Ukrainian Catholic faith very much.  

Prayers were offered on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 7:00 pm from St. Elias Ukrainian Catholic Church in Grandview, MB.
Funeral Liturgy was held on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 10:00 am from St. Elias Ukrainian Catholic Church in Grandview, MB with Rev Father Yaroslav Strukhlyak officiating.  Interment followed in St. Elias Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Grandview, MB.
