Martha Georgina Houle

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Martha Houle. 
After a courageous battle with cancer, Martha passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on Friday, November 1, 2019. 
Martha was predeceased by her husband Andrew, her parents Louisa and Thomas Flett, her brothers David and Joe and her sister Julie. 
She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish many wonderful memories; her daughters Kathleen (Frank) and Pam (Gerald), her grandchildren Patrick (Christina),
Neil, Sarah (Linda), Alissa, Amy, Andrina, Alexa and Aidan, 8 great grandchildren, her sisters Elizabeth, Cheryl, Diane (Leonard), Loren and Glenda (Percy), her brothers Andy and Carey,
along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. 
"Don't weep for me, my children,
Time has so quickly flown. 
I've lived the scene of time and change
and watched my children grow. 
Don't mourn too long, my children
Rejoice in memories of the past. 
I've gone to join the others,
I am home now at least. 
Put your arms around her, Lord,
Treat her with special care;
Make up for all she suffered
and all that seemed unfair. 
Tell her how much we miss her,
and take her all our love;
May she find eternal peace
in her heavenly home above" 
 

Wake and Prayer Services began on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 7:00 pm in the Ebb and Flow Community Complex, Ebb and Flow, MB 

Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Ebb and Flow Community Complex, Ebb and Flow, MB 

Interment in the Ebb and Flow Cemetery
