Marlene Bomak, 59 years old of Dauphin, MB passed away on February 28, 2018 at Dauphin Regional Health Centre after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma.

Marlene was born in Grandview, Manitoba on June 1, 1958 to Edward & Ann Barnett (Rutherford). She met Ron while attending school in Grandview and never looked back! They married on November 20, 1976 and then moved out to Edmonton, Alberta where Terry was born. Then the decision was made to move back to Grandview to farm where Carla & Clayton were born.
Their life was kept very busy with camping at Blue Lake, fishing, ski-doing, hockey & ringette. Once the kids graduated from high school Ron found his career with the grain industry change and they moved to McCreary, Brandon and then settling in Dauphin.
Marlene worked with Prairie Mountain Health in medical records until she had an accident on her bike which led to the diagnoses of Multiple Myeloma. Marlene accepted the diagnosis with great strength and proceeded with treatments, with a smile on her face and never a complaint.
Marlene was predeceased by her father Edward Barnett & Brother in law Lloyd Fisher.
