Lucille Marie McPhee

It is with great sadness that the family of Lucile M McPhee announces her passing on June 16th 2018 at the age of 84 of Dauphin MB Canada.
 
Lucile was born in McCreary, Manitoba Canada on December 20th 1933 to John Berthellet and Eva (Gearpiey) Berthellet. She had a total of eleven other siblings, five brothers and six sisters. 
 
Lucile was pretty athletic, she played baseball, and was a pretty good ice skater. She had a real love for curling, she played for many years with her husband and many friends, played with the Kilty curling club and the Rockets curling club. When she was younger she also loved to be outdoors with the camper and boat water skiing, which I hear she got pretty good at and was able to do so with one ski. She was part of the AA group here in Dauphin for many years and absolutely loved the program and all the great friends she met along the way.
 
She was employed for many years with the local radio station and the RM of Dauphin 
 
On September 11th 1954 Lucile was married to Stanley D McPhee and together had 2 children Greg McPhee of Vinton VA whom is married to Donna McPhee  & Marlene (McPhee) Murphy of Colorado Springs CO whom is married to Linwood Murphy. They have a granddaughter Scheyanne (McPhee) Piper of Palmetto FL whom is married to William Piper. Grandson Darnell Murphy of Colorado Springs CO whom is married to Angela Murphy. Darnell and Angela have given them 3 great grandchildren Samantha, Sutton and Shayden Murphy. Grandson Shawn Gwyn of Vinton VA whom is married to Krista Gwyn together they have given them 2 great grandchildren Hunter and Kyle Gwyn. 
 
She also leaves to mourn her passing her sister Annette Macloud of Winnipeg MB Canada and many nieces and nephews.
 
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to St Paul’s Personal Care Home, Lucile, also known as Loo Loo, in the care home always had the most wonderful things to say about the staff. Thank you for taking such great care of her and making her feel a part of the family.

Celebration of Life was held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:00 am from Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin, MB with Ilene Dowd officiating.  Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin, MB
