Lucas Nathanial Nepinak-Childs

Lucas Nathanial Nepinak-Childs, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the age of 17 years in the Health Sciences Center in Winnipeg with his father James Childs at his side.

Lucas was born November 21, 2001 in the St. Boniface Hospital. Lucas lived the younger years of his life  with his Father, Grandma Marlene Childs and Jim Snyder in Dauphin.  Then lived the rest of his life with his Dad and Aunty Kim (Mom) and family Jim, Brandy - on a farm in Gilbert Plains. Lucas attended the DRCSS in Dauphin and was going into grade 12 this fall. Lucas loved going camping, fishing, and quadding with family and friends.  He enjoyed school and had many friends.  Everyone knew Lucas at the DRCSS.

Lucas leaves to mourn and will be dearly missed by his family.  Father James Childs, Aunty Kim (Mom) and Uncle Jim Huska and son Brady and Jim Snyder (Papa).  Along with many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins And Friends. Lucas is predeceased by his Grandparents Marlene Childs and George Childs.

Donations in memory of Lucas may be made to the Parkland Humane Society or a charity of one's choice.

A Memorial Service was held for Lucas on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11:00 am from the Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin with Pastor Scott Allen officiating.  

Should friends so desire, donations in memory of Lucas may be made to Parkland Humane Society or to Charity of Choice.
