Lena Laquette

Lena Gertrude Laquette (Granny) passed away peacefully on April 28, 2018 at the age of 66 at the Dauphin Hospital with her family by her side.  She was born on June 10, 1951 in the R.M. of Lawrence, Manitoba.

Lena loved family gatherings as well as bingo, cooking and playing cards.  

Lena will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Harvey Sanderson; her children Caroline (John), Andrew (Kate-ann), Vitaline (Norman), Linda (Mike), Donny (Amanda), Trent (Samantha); her brother George (Mary) as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Lena will be missed and her memories cherished by her loved ones.

Traditional Wake was held on Friday, May 4, 2018 beginning at 4:00 pm from the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Crane River, MB.

Prayers were offered on Friday May 4, 2018 at 8:00 pm from the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Crane River, MB.

A Funeral Mass was held for Lena on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 10:00 am from the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Crane River with Fr. Nepolian Suvakin officiating.
