John Pacholuk

John Pacholuk was welcomed into the arms of God on July 17th, 2018 at 98 years of age. John was born on February 11th, 1920 in Pulp River, Manitoba. He was the eldest of 8 children. John spent his life working the family farm. He was always up with the cows and roosters, breaking only for meals with his family.   John was also a voracious reader.  He would read everything he could get his hands on but his favorite and most loved read of all was the Bible.  He practiced his faith in all he did.   He is missed by many but none more than his sister Anne Pacholuk of Dauphin, whom he shared a home and life with. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. He will be welcomed into the loving arms of those that went before him; his parents Peter and Mary Pacholuk, his brothers Mike, Walter, Toni, Joe, Cecilia, Sabina and  his nephew Darrell Pacholuk.  

Funeral Service was held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10:00 am from Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin, MB with Pastor Frank Boychuk officiating.  Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin, MB.  A light lunch followed.
