Joseph A. Cermak of Dauphin and formerly of Pine River Manitoba went to be with the Lord on Thursday October 25, 2018 at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 77.
He was born to Frank Sr. and Mary (Chernyk) on November 20, 1940 at Ethelbert Mb.
Joe was married to Connie (Kostiuk) Aug 31, 1968.
Joe came to faith in Christ on October 26, 2007 and was baptized on July 15, 2010.
It was this faith Christ and the work of the Cross was paramount in his life and we know that his wish would be that all who read this would come to know the Lord.
Preceded in death by his Father, Mother, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, Father in-law, 2 nephews, 2 nieces, and 4 unborn grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years Connie, son Kirk, Daughter Kelly (Tom)Andres, Grandchildren Joseph, Samuel, Naomi, Ruth, Esther, Titus & Malachi, mother in-law Victoria Kostiuk, sister in-law Florence (Edward) Dowbush, brother in-law Clifford Kostiuk, sisters Sylvia (Adam) Hagel, Helen Whiteway and Jean Cermak, brother Carl (Joyce) Cermak. Sisters in-law Mary Yatkowski, Shirley Cermak and numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Dr. Mathison, all the Nurses, care aids and home care attendants that took such good care of Joe over the years.
Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 12:00 am from Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin, MB with Rev. Laverne Lewycky officiating.
