Jennie (Pshebnicki) West

Jennie West (nee Pshebnicki) of Brandon, MB, born on April 12, 1933, passed away on May 5, 2019 in Brandon, MB at the age of 86 years.

Jennie was born on the Pshebnicki family farm in the Melton district in the R.M. of Dauphin, MB.

She was one of nine children born to John and Nellie Pshebnicki.

Jennie spent her entire life, until retirement, working at Eaton’s and then many years at the Manitoba Liquor Commission.

Jennie enjoyed her social life with friends and at family gatherings.  Jennie collected dolls and also enjoyed her sport of bowling.

Jennie was a stylish modern woman during her entire life.  One of her favorite sayings was “all in all, let’s just have a beer and enjoy ourselves”.

Jennie was predeceased by her parents John and Nellie; sisters Ann, Mary, Helen; brothers Mike, Bill, Nick and Jim.  Surviving is her brother Peter of Niagara Falls, ON along with many nieces and nephews and extended family. 

Cremation has taken place and interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin, MB.
