Helen Louise (Ryz) Perih

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Helen Louise Perih (nee Ryz) on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the age of 92 years.
Helen Perih was raised in the Wilson River District where she attended school.  She worked at the Dauphin General Hospital until marrying her husband Mike Perih on October 15, 1948.  They raised their seven children on the family dairy farm.
She was predeceased by her husband in August 1984 and her son Ernie in December 2006. Helen was also predeceased by her parents, Joseph & Francis Ryz, sister Rose, brothers Walter, Jack, Stan, Ralph & Carl.
She is survived by her loving family, Bernice & Michael Hayhoe of AB, Marie & Miguel Caron of Quebec, Greg & Valerie Perih of AB, Jerry Perih of Ethelbert, son Jason and daughter Jennifer & Josh Marshall, Kathy & Al Dayman of Estevan, SK, Dennis & Della Perih, son Ryan and daughter Janessa & David Marten of Dauphin. She is also survived by her sisters Florence Ryz of Winnipeg, Verna Sleigh of Comox, Josephine & Bob Paul of Winnipeg, brother Don & Leasa Ryz of Vernon.
Helen was a devoted Catholic all her life.  She served with the St. Viator's Roman Catholic Church with the CWL for 25 years of service.  She was a kind, soft spoken, gentle, loving person to everyone she knew.  Her family always came first.

Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 am from  in Dauphin, MB with Father John Legitimas officiating.  Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin, MB.  Pallbearers were Christopher Chernecki, Jason Perih, Michael Hayhoe,  Ryan Perih, David Morton, Josh Marshall.
