Helen (Houle) Gabriel

Peacefully on February 27, 2019 Helen Gabriel age 85 years of Ebb & Flow First Nation, passed away at the Ashern Lakeshore Hospital.
Helen is survived by her children Linda (Elmer), Lorna, Susie (Lawrence), Wayne, Carle (Josie), Doreen (Ian); special granddaughter Linda (Fa-T) and numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents Abraham and Marie Louise Houle; sisters Marie and Catherine; brothers Joe (Rose), Edward, Roland and Antoine; along with her sons Russell and Cecil; daughters Judy and Yvette; son-in-law Bill Paul; grand children Denise and Cecil and great great grandchildren Sky, Jayden and Aarron.
Helen enjoyed numerous things such as, sewing, crocheting and watching sports such as wrestling  and baseball, but her passion was visiting with family, reminiscing the old days and loved do laugh...
The family want to thank Dr. Kashur and the staff of Ashern Lakeshore Hospital.

Traditional Wake was offered on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 5:00 pm  from the Ebb & Flow Community Complex in Ebb & Flow, Manitoba.

Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 11:00 am from Ebb & Flow Community Complex in Ebb & Flow, Manitoba with Father George officiating.  Interment followed in Ebb & Flow First Nations Cemetery in Ebb & Flow, MB.  Pallbearers were Allen Houle Sr, Johnny  Houle, Elmer Maytwayashing Sr, Elmer Maytwayashing Jr, Markus Chippeway, Riel Houle.
