Evelyn Flower

Evelyn Jean Charlotte Flower, at 75 years of age of Ste. Rose du Lac, MB passed away peacefully with family by her side on July 27, 2018 after her courageous battle with cancer. Evelyn was born in Ste. Rose du Lac, MB to James and Maria Flower on October 26, 1942.
Evelyn worked in the health care profession in Ste. Rose and in Thompson.  She then worked in Jenpeg for Hydro and in Calgary for an engineering firm.  She returned to Dauphin, worked as a central sterilizing aide at the Dauphin Regional Hospital, and retired in 2005.
She enjoyed spending time with her three nieces and extended family and never missed a special family occasion.
Evelyn’s faith and love of music carried her through the years.  She sang at numerous weddings and special occasions.  She also enjoyed directing different choirs.
She will be sadly missed by her brother Ron (Anna) Flower, her 3 nieces Kim (Jim) MacMillan, Lorianne Flower, Breanne (Brad) Coffey, great nieces Keah and Hayley, great nephews Jesse and Lucas and great-great nieces Skylar and Rose.
The funeral mass celebrating Evelyn’s life was held at the Ste. Rose de Lima Roman Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11 2018 with Fr. Patrick Neufeld officiating.
