Born to Kenneth and Ellen Dorman (nee Waters) in Dauphin, MB on October 30, 1929. Attended school in Dauphin and married Cecil Wright on July 17, 1948 in Dauphin, MB.
Enid was a Domestic Goddess who sewed, knitted, crocheted, canned, could put up a garden, took in foster kids and managed the family herd. Be it a crow, cat, dog, chicken, duck, goose, peacock, pheasants.... She loved nature and being outside and could make almost anything grow. Her enthusiasm for Christmas baking and decorating was unlimited and appreciated by many.
She grew up in Dauphin and spent most of her family life with her husband, Cecil in Surrey, BC. They had 5 children - Kenneth William, Murray Cecil, Shannon Doah, Enid Lloyine (Lolly) and Cindra Iann.
She retired in Dauphin, MB after many years managing Enid's Place restaurant at the Dauphin Lake golf course. She will be remembered for enjoying a night out dancing, Her love of the changing seasons and the beauty of a tall oak tree.
She is survived by 4 children, 11 grand children and 7 great grand children.
A Celebration of Life was held on March 20, 2019 from Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services in Aldergrove, British Columbia.
A private family Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin, MB.
