Cheryl Jerome Obituary

It is with deepest sadness that we relay the passing of Cheryl (Sherry) Jerome - daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She passed away on April 10, 2018 at the age of 58, at Roblin Hospital, after a short battle with cancer.

Cheryl was born in Calgary, Alberta on June 9, 1959. She grew up in Carrot River with her parents Herman and Clara Adleman, and her five siblings: Deb, Sandy, Brenda,  Denise and Scott.   She met the love of her life Andrew Jerome and they were married on July 28, 1979. Cheryl gained two more loving parents - Gilbert and Elsie and many more brothers and sisters in the Jerome family: Willie, Margaret, Eddie, Lorraine, Ray, Mary-Anne and Wendell.

Cheryl and Andrew share three beautiful children: Jody, Christie and Crystal.  Cheryl and Andrew raised their children in Moose Jaw, SK.

They decided to begin a new adventure in Regina when they started Prairie Winds Transportation, a trucking and warehousing company, which they built from the ground up. They owned and operated their business together from 1991 - 2013.

In 2002, Cheryl became a grandma to Cole and doted on her beloved grandson every chance she got!

Cheryl enjoyed spending time with family when she would cook smorg suppers full of love!  She enjoyed reading Danielle Steele books, listening to Celine Dion, watching the news and doing jigsaw puzzles on her IPad. Cheryl started a whole new life in Roblin when they renovated their home and created a sanctuary where she enjoyed coffee on the deck everyday.

Cheryl is survived by: her husband Andrew; son Jody (Michelle); twin daughters Christie & Crystal (Andrew Stephanow) and  her beloved grandson Cole Nickell; parents Herman & Clara; brothers and sisters - Deb (Don Shinkewski), Brenda (Rene George), Sandy (Randy Bett), Denise (Bill Wiebe), and Scott (Angie); sisters and brothers-in-law - Willie (Helen), Margaret, Eddie (Donna), Lorraine, Ray (Cheryl), Mary-Anne (Richard Hrabarchuk), Wendell (Darlene), and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Cheryl was predeceased by: father & mother-in-law Gilbert & Elsie Jerome, brother-in-law Ron Hackenschmidt and daughter-in-law Diana Jerome.

Cheryl was loved by many and will be missed so much!

She touched the hearts of so many!
