Arlene Mabel (Currey) Agar passed away on June 9, 2018 at the Roblin and District Hospital. She was born in Dauphin, Manitoba on December 16, 1937 to parents - James and Jean (McMillan) Currey.
Arlene graduated from Goose Lake Collegiate in 1955 and married Robert Agar in 1956.
Together they had three sons, and various businesses in Roblin. Arlene had a love for baking and canning and was a staple at the Roblin Farmers’ Market. She was also a member of the Legion and the Knox United Church. One of her favourite activities was playing Bingo, which she continued to do until her passing.
In addition to her parents and husband - Bob, she was predeceased by brothers and sisters: Jim, Art, Margaret, and Alice.
Surviving Arlene are: her three sons - Jim, Brent (Karen) and Kirk (Val); grandchildren - Robbie, Nicole, Landon (Kerri) and Mary as well as great-grandchildren - Serenity, Misha, Austin and Jaylynn; sister - Vivian (George) Woodley; many nieces and nephews, and long-time companion - Alex Smigelsky.
A private family service and interment will be held at the Roblin and District Cemetery at a later date.
