Annie Slyziuk passed away at the Dauphin Personal Care Home on March 9th, 2019 at the age of 102.
Annie was born to Wasyl and Lena Scraba of Drifting River on August 11, 1916. She received her education at Tartakiw School.
She was united in marriage to Nick Slyziuk on October 28, 1933. They operated a store in Venlaw, retired to Dauphin and then moved to St. George’s Place. Annie then moved to the Dauphin Personal Care Home until her passing.
She loved gardening and flowers and also loved baking. She loved her Church very much. She also liked bowling.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Nick, 8 brothers and sisters, grandsons Dennis Semchuk, Terry Palaniuk and son-in-law Jerry Semchuk.
Surviving her are two daughters Eileen Semchuk, Sylvia and husband Bill Maksymetz all of Dauphin, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. & 10 great great grandchildren

Funeral Service was held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10:00 am from St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Dauphin, MB with Rev. Father Brent Kuzyk officiating. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin, MB. Pallbearers were John Kindrat, Randy Palaniuk, Brian Palaniuk, Wayne Semchuk, James Semchyshyn, Travis Roos.
