Alfrieda Lorraine (Archer) Secord

Sadly Alfrieda Lorraine Secord (nee Archer) passed away October 4,2018 at the age of 83.

Freda will be fondly remembered by her children; Marilyn (Bob) Crowe, Kelly (Heather) Secord, Wanda (Owen) Connolly, Kim (Susie) Secord, Susan (Ed) MacQuarrie, and Kirk Secord. She is survived by her sisters Audrey (Herb) Osmond and Lorna (Don) Bedford and sister in law Peggy Archer. Freda was predeceased by her husband Roland ( Rollie) Secord, parents Alfred and Violet Archer, brother Murray Archer, sister Ruth Bennett and daughter in law Shauna Secord. She will be dearly missed as a familiar face in the Secord-Crowe Greenhouse where she spent 30 years transplanting, deadheading and arranging flowers. Life was all about family, flowers and food.

Internment was at the Riverside Cemetary October 13,2018.

She always leaned to watch for us Anxious if we were late, In the winter by the window, In the summer by the gate. And though we mocked her tenderly Who had such foolish care, The long way home would seem more safe, Because she waited there. Her thought were all so full of us, She never could forget, And so I think that where she is She must be watching yet.
