William “Bill” Fedorkiw

William “Bill” Fedorkiw passed away on July 2, 2017 at the Dauphin General Hospital after a battle with cancer, at the age of 77 years.

Bill worked at many jobs during his lifetime in Ontario, Manitoba and Alberta. Mining, truck driving, the auto industry, backhoe operator, crane operator, but farming in the Dauphin area was always #1 with him.

He is survived by his son B.J. (Lisa) and one grandson.; sister Mary (George) Dunfield, and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents Peter & Theresa Fedorkiw; his wife Marie; sister Helen & brother-in-law Peter Gawazuk; nephew Victor.

Should friends desire, donations in memory of Bill may be made to Cancer Care MB , Sts. Peter & Paul Valley River Farm Church Cemetery Fund or to the Valley River Community Centre.

A special thank you to the staff on the 2nd floor, Cancer Care nurses on 3rd floor, Dr. Hunter of Brandon & Dr. Harlos of Winnipeg and Dr. Vosters in Dauphin.

Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 10:30 am from Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin, MB with Very Rev Father Oleg Bodnarski officiating. Interment followed in Sts. Peter & Paul Valley River Farm Church Cemetery in Valley River, MB.
