On Thursday, March 21, 2024 surrounded by his loving family, Frank Ranville passed away at his residence in Crane River, MB 

Frank was born to parents Emile and Eliza Ranville and was raised in Crane River with his siblings Florence, Alice, Charles, Lambert Jr, Josephine, Nancy and Doris
He attended Crane River School and made numerous childhood friends along with new friends throughout his adult life.  

Frank married Eileen Moar and they had 3 children; Chad, Myrna and Chris.  He then went on to live with his companion Delia Erickson for 25 years.  They raised all of their children together Chad, Myrna, Chris, Robert, John, Christopher E, Geoffrey, Michael, Tracy and Dean in Cranberry Portage, MB 

Frank worked hard to provide for his family.  At a young age, Frank worked in the mine in Uranium City, SK and served as a constable in the community of Crane River. Following a move to Cranberry Portage, Frank worked as a counsellor for Frontier Collegiate. His next move was to The Pas, MB where he drove cab and worked as a respite worker for CFS.  Frank worked as a Cable Ferry Operator in Cross Lake, MB until 2004.  In 2007, Frank decided to move back home to Crane River where he drove the Headstart bus until retirement.  

Frank loved his bingo, playing guitar and singing.  He was a handiman of any project that was thrown his way.  His main passion was to sit outside by the fire, have a beer and talk about the old days.  

Frank was predeceased by his parents Emile and Eliza, his brother Charles, his sisters Florence, Alice, Nancy, his son Chad, his stepson Mikey and his ex-wife Eileen.  

Frank will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his children Myrna (David), Chris, his stepchildren Robert, John, Christopher E, Geoffrey (Charmaine), Tracy (Donald), Dean (Destiny), his grandchildren Kelsey, Gary, Derek, Cassie, Kellie, Stacie, Hailee, Kiersyn, Kamryn, Baby Chad, Tyler and Raina, his stepgrandchildren Roxanne, Robert Jr, Austin, Brandon, Aiden, Troen, his great grandchildren Jessie, Jaxson, Justice, Jaylean, Gianna, Rhea, Remington, Liam, Analia, Oaklyn, Nathaniel, Mazedon, Jack, Acaiyus, Rylan, Emery, Bryton, Hendryx, Tyler Jr, Willow, Paiton, and his sisters Josephine (Irvin) and Doris (Florent) and his special nieces Mary Ranville Eastman and Maxine Ranville whom he loved and they did everything for him along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.   

The family would like to thank Jessica Chartrand, Dawn Bass, Amanda BetteRidge, Ste. Rose Hospital staff, Dad's doctors; Dr. O'Hagan, Dr. Forsythe and Dr. Paradis, Ryan Raffray of Sneath-Strilchuk and everyone who supported us throughout his home stay- Megwetch. 

A wake for Frank will begin on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 7:00 pm in the Maurice Morrisseau Memorial Hall in Crane River, MB 

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the Maurice Morrisseau Memorial Hall in Crane River, MB 

The services will conclude at the hall with cremation to follow.
