Peacefully, on January 25, 2012 at the Dr. Gendreau Memorial Personal Care Home in Ste. Rose du Lac, Joseph Octave Altenburg passed away at the age of 94 years.
Prayers were offered on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 7:00 PM from Ste. Rose de Lima Roman Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 2:00 Pm from Ste. Rose de Lima Roman Catholic Church, Ste. Rose du Lac. Fr. Leo Fernandes officiated with the interment following in the Ste. Rose Cemetery.
Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in memory of Joseph to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba or to a charity of one’s choice.
